First United Methodist Church is in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. Located next to the interstate on the corner of North and East Boulevards, the church is easy to get to from any area in Baton Rouge and from surrounding parishes.

Parking is available on the left side of East Boulevard and to the rear of the church on America Street. Those who are disabled but who can walk short distances can park in the East Boulevard lot. Those who are in wheel chairs can park in the America Street parking lot. There is a covered entrance for unloading passengers on America Street. Sunday parking also includes areas underneath the interstate.
