EARLY LEARNING CENTER POLICY STATEMENT ELIGIBILITY
Children are not enrolled or excluded from the Early Learning Center on the basis of race, creed, sex, national origin, or physical strength or limitation.

Tuition may be paid by check or money order, payable to the Early Learning Center. A $25.00 handling fee will be charged for any check returned NSF. The Early Learning Center shall require all payments to be made by money order after the receipt of a second NSF check during any one term.
APPLICATION AND ADMISSIONS POLICY
Waiting list applications are obtained from the Early Learning Center office. A $45.00 non-refundable fee will be charged. If a child’s application is not accepted for that particular year, the application remains on file until the child is either placed or parents request that the application be removed. Applications are reviewed by the Administrative Staff prior to final placement. The order of acceptance for the Early Learning Center is as follows:
1. A child presently enrolled at the Early Learning Center.
2. A child of a parent who is a member of the ELC staff or First United Methodist Church staff. (At the discretion of the Director, every attempt will be made to accommodate the child of an ELC staff member)
3. The sibling of a child enrolled at the Early Learning Center whose parents are active members* of First United Methodist Church for at least one full year. (Active is defined as attending worship and/or Sunday school or participating in other disciple making ministries for at least 75% of the time allotted for their activities.)
4. The sibling of a child enrolled at the Early Learning Center whose parents are not church members.
5. A child whose parents are active members* of the First United Methodist Church. (Active is defined as attending worship and/or Sunday school or participating in other disciple making ministries for at least 75% of the time allotted for their activities.)
6. Sibling Alumni- A child of a family who were formally enrolled at ELC in the last 10 years, *FUMC members have priority over non church members.
7. A child whose parents are non-church members.
* Must be an active member for 1 year to qualify for priority status.
